Therapeutic Recreation Summer Camps are offered by DPR to children with and without developmental and intellectual disabilities. An application and assessment must be completed prior to enrollment.
All assessments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. A recreation therapist determines acceptance into camp based on the accommodations needed for the participant.
If accepted, the therapist will then assist in selecting the best camping program to meet participants’ needs.
Â
Please note, not every child will be accepted due to space and staff constraints.
